The Director of Holmes Dyer prepared concept plans for the redevelopment of the Kingscote Wharf Precinct for the State Government. The concepts involved the rationalisation of land uses to provide residential, retail, tourist outlet, and car parking opportunities while maintaining ferry access, boat mooring, boat ramp and trailer parking.
Prepared concepts recognised heritage items, addressed increased pedestrian accessibility, maintained sight lines for key buildings, and managed vehicle access in and around the precinct.
