One of the Directors of Holmes Dyer was responsible for concept formulation and the evaluation of the likely financial performance of a wine interpretation centre at Coonawarra, involving assessment of visitation levels, expenditure levels, experiential opportunities and complimentary uses, such as food and accommodation offerings.
The project included identification of the spatial requirements and operational linkages required of the project, and the cost and income streams likely to be generated by the facility.
The assessment included evaluation of capital costs, opportunities to access external funding sources and grant monies, and recurrent cost budget estimates which considered the ability to operate the facility at a revenue neutral position, having respect to different levels of capital cost contribution by external sources.
