Port Pirie Community Strategic Plan
Project Info:
Port Pirie is a key regional City in the State’s upper Spencer Gulf Region. A gateway to the Southern Flinders Ranges and Gulf Region and heavily depended on industry and primary production, Port Pirie Regional Council sought a future-looking plan to guide the development and prosperity of its community.
Key staff of Holmes Dyer worked with the Council to develop its new Community Strategic Plan in accord with Section 122 of the Local Government Act.
Tasks completed by Holmes Dyer included:
- Council-wide site inspection with Elected Members and senior staff;
- Research and analysis;
- Interactive reflection and projection workshops with Council Members;
- Community consultation sessions; and
- Preparation of the Strategic Plan
